Great job!!!
I fell in love with Lucy as a little girl, watching the episodes with my grandma. I followed her later shows, but I Love Lucy was the best. I have many trinkets, books, memorabilia, etc in my studio, and everyone knows to get me something Lucy themed if they want to see me smile! In 6th grade, she passed away and my mom let me watch the coverage on her death and I remember weeping. I even saved the tissue in my diary! By the way, LOVE the paris dress episode.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress! My addiction has always been creating things. :) TFS

Wonderful card!! I Love Lucy! My addiction? While vacationing in Niagara Falls we drove 2 hours away from from our original destination, Boston, to visit her hometown of Jamestown. We visited the museum and it was well worth the visit!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful episode and your card goes perfectly with it. I love the card! I don't have a Lucy addiction, but my sister does. She has a Lucy room in her house! I think crafting is my addiction.
ReplyDeletemary3mom at yahoo dot com
Oh wow...watching that Lucy clip really brought back some memories and your card is a perfect tribute to that episode...I love it!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have a Lucy obsession, though I always loved her show...but I do have a similar obsession with the show "Friends".
I have every season on DVD and watch it every single night when I go to bed! (Poor hubby...he never complains when he has to listen to the friends song every night!) LOL!
It funny, because I can relate to what you said about putting in the DVD's and without watching...just listening you know exactly what's going on!
Love the idea for this blog hop!
One day maybe I'll do a FRIENDS blog hop!

ReplyDeleteI've been so excited about this blog hop.... why???? because I am from Jamestown, NY (you know that but others don't)the birth place of Lucille Ball!
ReplyDeleteWe all have grandparent stories around this area with Lucy. My Grandpa Rhodes lived next door to Lucy when they were kids. She was same age as my Uncle Cecil and he, Grandpa and Lucy would walk to Washington Jr. HS together. They all lived on 23rd St.

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this awesome blog hop! I am a Lucy fan as well! I have a couple of books on her, have about 10 of the Barbies, watch the show just about every time I see it playing on tv! On my myspace page under the section of people I'd like to meet- it lists Lucille Ball because I think it would be awesome to have been able to spend a few minutes with this awesome lady!
ReplyDeletechrisbrown1973@hotmail.com
Oh I remember Lucy well. I too grew up with her. I liked the original I love Lucy much better than the later edition. As far as TV shows, I am an original Trecki but only for the original shows. Right now I am addicted to crafting, but I am a Gemini so who knows what is next.
ReplyDeleteThe card is really cute! i don't have a Lucy addiction, but vitameatavegimin is my favorite episode. :)

She has many collectible and books on Lucy. She even did a school project on Live, Laugh, Love and Lucy. I would love to win the doll for her.

I have been a Lucy fan for about 25 years now and I also have all the DVDs. For those who never watched Lucy I have to tell you a story. I was newly married working days and husband working evenings. Lucy was on Nick at Night so I would watch her for 3-4 hours a night by myself. She made my lonely evenings something I really looked forward to. I laughed so hard my face would hurt! You gotta Love Lucy with us. Give it a shot! P.S. My father in law supposedly gave her airplane rides and my mother in law hated her! LOL. So I had grief whenever I brought her up for 2-3 years!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! TFS
ReplyDeleteI do love Lucy!!! Though I'm not addicted.
