Hello and happy Monday to everyone!!! So super excited to be part of this fun hop!!! This is a customer blog hop that The Greeting Farm is hosting. It is a lengthy one so make sure you have a full coffee pot ready to go!

I do have to share that I was very very limited with supplies! I am visiting family in Mexico and did not bring ANY supplies and tools. So, I tried my very best to create a card. 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE TGF! I had seen them here and there but never really bought any until I began scrappin with Michelle, Candace and Kim.... then it kinda became an addiction!

Here is my card using Ian from XMas Sweeties, I used Echo Park Paper and sentiment is from Dilo En Español Spanish Only Sentiments.

I created a very simple b-day card. I saw this cute stamp at Michaels and thought of my day back in the 80's!! I remember taking out my huge boom-box and just played it as loud as possible. Loved break-dancing music!!

Dilo En Español Challenge #6/ 6to Reto de Dilo En Español

Hello my dear scrappers! I am so happy that vacation is here and that I get to go to Mexico to visit family!! But, especially excited because I get to have a Crop Day with friends that I have made through Facebook! It will be FUN!!!// Hola a todas mis queridas escraperas!! Estoy feliz de que se acercan las vacaciones y que voy a visitar a la familia a Mexico!! Pero mucho mas emocionada de que vamos a tener un dia de crop con mis amigachas del facebook!!! Ah que divertida nos vamos a dar!! 

Well, this is our last challenge for the year!! When we start the year again with our challenges we will have new stamps for you!!! A wedding set, a baby set and an ABC set that will include those extra letters the Spanish alphabet has!!// Bueno y este sera nuestro ultimo reto del año!!! Dilo En Español Challenge #4/ 4to Reto de Dilo En Español

Happy Friday everyone!! Welcome to another super fun challenge! Our last challenge was oh so fun!! Full of sparkling projects!! Thank every single one of you who entered!!! Feliz viernes a todas!! Bienvenidas a otro reto que les aseguro a todas les encantara! Nuestro ultimo reto estuvo divertido! Gracias a todas aquellas que participaron!

This time around we have another challenge that I am sure will be fun and easy! The theme for this time around is to use TWINE!! You can use ANY kind of twine you have!! and you can create anything you want!! A layout, a card an altered item... whatever you like! Esta vez tenemos otro reto que de seguro les va a gustar y estara super facil tambien! El tema que les propongo es el de usar TWINE!! Puede ser cualquier marca de hilito, y pueden crear lo que gusten!! ya sea layout, tarjeta, cajita... lo que gusten!!!

This time around I got to use Set #3 Suspirando con Tinta. These stamps are all about love. The sentiment I used on my card is a very popular saying we have in Mexico. I am not sure if it is used in other countries as well. It reads: "Eres mi media naranja" the translation for that is "You are my other half orange" Esta vez yo use el Set #3 de mis sellitos para crear mi tarjetita. Me encanta este sellito!!!

I used the Preserves cartridge for the orange and I just cut it in half and paper is Echo Park and SU cardstock. The punch for the sentiment is also SU. Ohhhh!! and did you see those adorable Peachy faces!!! It is one of the newer assortment faces. Use el cartucho de Preserves de Cricut para la naranja y la corte por la mitad. El papel que use es de Echo Park y tambien use cardstock de Stampin Up. Use tambien una perforadora de Stampin Up. Y esas caritas!?!?!? BELLISIMAS no?? Son de Peachy Keen! Una de sus mas recientes colecciones de caritas.

2nd Annual Dia De Los Muertos Blog Hop!!

Hello Everyone and welcome to our 2nd Annual Dia De Los Muertos Blog Hop!!  Day of the Dead has been celebrated in Mexico for many many centuries. It is a day where we remember our loved ones and the beautiful life they had when they lived. Altars are created for those loved ones and their favorite things are put on the altar as an "ofrenda", an offering for them. It is a time of joy and happiness. 

Last year I created a small altar for my grandfather and had to make sure I put on the altar some of his favorite things like mayo and some tequila! What a combination! :)

So, another thing that I always, always associate with Day Of the Dead is Frida Kahlo. Her art reflected what she was feeling and it was her way of expressing herself. Sometimes, hmmm most times a truth that was a little too hard to swallow. 

I became inspired by the cover of Vogue where she appeared.

and here is my creation:

Sentiment is a quote from Frida Kahlo, it reads: "Feet, why do I need them if I have wings to fly"

Frida Kahlo had an accident when she was young and had to go through many many surgeries through out her life. At first, doctors believed she might not be able to walk again. Click HERE if you would like know more about her life.
