My Creative Time Thursday Throwback Challenge and the winner of my last post!!!

I just love My Creative Time!!! This is Emma's second Thursday Throwback and this time you had to create something using Stretch Your Imagination and the colors brown, red and blue. Now, I know we are quite far away from Winter but I saw the sled on the SYI cartridge and this came to mind.

As always the photographs do not show the true colors and do not show how truly popped out the images are.

I am so glad for the hide contour feature on our gypsies because of one little glitch with the penguin. On the handbook the little penguin comes with his beak just like I placed it on this card. But, when you cut the image, the lines that guide us where to put the beak are placed like if it was a mouth and it does not look cutesy.

Emma's challenge called for three colors: brown, red and blue. It could be any tones we wanted to use. I don't have too much red but the red bling helps the red pop out.

If you want the gypsy file please feel free to email me and I'll send it your way.

This is what I used:
Joann Winter Wonderland Stack
A la mode glitter
Create a Critter Cart
Stretch your Imagination cart
Zooballoo Cart
Bling from walmart

Hope you like what you see!

Oh before I forget! The winner of the two cards from my last post is LAURA!!! Please email me with your address so I can send them your way!!!!

Howdy Partner Card Using Joy's "Lots of Pun" Stamp Set

Hello all!! I got my full set of "Lots of Pun" stamps from Joyslife.com!
I wanted to create a card to show her my appreciation and I made this card using her "Howdy Partner" stamp. I used many cartridges, used 3D glue dots for popping up and I inked EVERYTHING! The little face was drawn by me!
Here you can see the layering and popping up!
If you are interested in the Gypsy file, please email me at ilovebasicgrey@yahoo.com Here is the simple recipe for this card.
Recipe:
Carts used: Just Because Cards, Once Upon a Princess, George and Basic Shapes, Paper Doll Dress Up and of course... Create a Critter
Joy's "Lots of Pun" stamp
Recollection Cardstock
Bazzil Cardstock
Martha Stewart printed paper
White Unibal Pen
A la mode black glitter
3D Glue Dots
This is the inside of the card.

Just Chilling Card

Good Morning my dear followers,
Today I woke up wanting to play with my new favorite cart Create a Critter. I created this hello card using the penguin. I did find something weird about it. The little penguin picture does not match the cut out on the white part (layer 1) On the picture it has the beak almost in between the eyes. But on the Layer 1 white part of the body it cuts the lines to put the beak really low... It does not look that cutesy. I used my gypsy to cut the igloo into a card. I also used the "just chilling" from the same penguin key (Phrase). I pop-up the penguin and used A la mode glitter around the card so it would look like snow. Inked the igloo also! Hope you like it!

Teacher Appreciation Week

This is a really simple card I created for my son's 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Jimenez.

I used Cricut Cart Making the Grade cart and my Cuttlebug also. The embossing folder is sizzix brand. I also used my Gypsy to weld teacher's name. Ribbon is from Michaels and I glossed the #1 teacher sign. A la mode glitter in green was used for leaf.
