A layout for my childhood friend and a Bday card for my sister in-law

Today I created a Bday card for my sister in-law. I used my newest cart (a gift from my BF). It has become my favorite!! I used Accent Essentials for the scallop and a square for George. I welded them using my Gypsy. Paper is regular cardstock and patterned paper is DCWV. I also used the cuttlebug.
I also created a LO for my childhood friends who I found thru Facebook after almost 20 years. One of the sisters, Dalia, hooked us up with loads of Cricut carts. As a thank you Gaby (my BF) and I are creating a few LO. This is the first of many to come. The title of this LO reads: "Flower Power" the reason for this is that all their names are names of flowers in Spanish: Azucena (not in picture), Margarita, Dalia, Rocio, Flor, Violeta and Azhalia. I love these pictures of them!! I cut flowers from Accent Essentials andone other I can't remember right now. Paper is all Cloud 9. Used bling for flowers and on the edge of pictures and I also used popouts for flowers.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This is a really simple card I created for my son's 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Jimenez.

I used Cricut Cart Making the Grade cart and my Cuttlebug also. The embossing folder is sizzix brand. I also used my Gypsy to weld teacher's name. Ribbon is from Michaels and I glossed the #1 teacher sign. A la mode glitter in green was used for leaf.

My Pink Stamper 2nd Challenge!!

Just got the Destination Cartridge and since May 5 is coming up, I thought a Mexico card would be nice! I used my scraps from a LO I had done about my family in Mexico. Paper used was from Mi Casa DCWV. I also used A la mode black glitter and inked with chestnut color box chalk. The ribbon I got at a scrapbook store in San Dimas. The piramid was cut at 1inch and the mexico sign at 1.5.
