A Hello Kitty Graduation Cricut Cake

Hola! I am loving my Cricut Cake!! You have no idea how much! This time around I made a cake for my god-daughter who is graduating from Central Union High School in El Centro CA. At first I had no idea what I was going to create.

I baked the cakes during the day and I almost didn't do anything!!! I happened to buy a cake mix that was on sale at Walmart (Pillsbury Moist Supreme) what I did not notice was that the mix already had a cup of pudding (something I add to my cakes), now, don't get me wrong, the cake was DELICIOUS!!! It melted in your mouth!! but that was exactly the problem!!! You can't have too soft of a cake when you are going to decorate with fondant!!! I actually gave up and had decided not to do anything after all. Well, I found a box of the cake mix that I do like ( Betty Crocker) and gave it another try! Well, here is my result.

As I was going thru my carts I remembered a Hello Kitty with cap and gown! Love how it all came out!!!!!

These are the carts I used and other things:
Hello Kitty Cap/Gown and sun from Hello Kitty Greetings
Lettering from Learning Curve
Purple Flower from Elegant Cakes (I used the Hide contour for the petals)
Scalloped Circle from Mini Monograms
Grass from Plantin Schoolbook
Wilton's Nonpareils Sprinkles
Wilton Fondant
Vodka to clean up and give it that shine

OH !!!! So you were the one that made this Super Sweet Xtra Gorgeous, can't get over it CAKE !!!!!!! LOL I would love to have the Cricut Cake, but I am not sure it will work in the hot/humid weather of PR. I read that the cuts should be made under a 70 degree weather. I don't have an air conditioner, I have ceiling fans all over the house and that usually works fir us (humans) but not for the Cricut Fondant sheets. :(
Sooooo glad to had found you. Me alegra tanto saber, q aun conservas tu idioma. Te recomiendo q tus ni~nos tambien lo hablen, ya q un bilingue vale por 2 donde quiera que se pare. Martha Caballero
