Peachy Keen~~Create a card of ENCOURAGEMENT

Hello friends! Today Peachy Keen Stamps has a new challenge for you!
It is all about encouraging words!

I created this card using the Cancer Fighting Bear from Cooking with Cricut.

Paper is DCWV Tis the Season stack and recollections cardstock. Can you tell I did not have a stamp for the sentiment? Well, I am away from home and have no access to a printer to even print one!

Peachy faces are the ones I won over at My Creative Time with Emma!
They are PK 670 and the pearls are from Want 2 Scrap.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Gaby Abby Challenges with SEI Week 7~~~~~Anything Thanksgiving!

Hello my dear bloggers!!! Are you ready for another Gaby Abby Challenge?!!?!!! This week we celebrate Thanksgiving and I want to take just a couple of lines from my post today to say something to you:

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR TAKING TIME FROM YOUR PRECIOUS DAY TO TAKE A PEEK HERE. Your comments are what inspire me to keep creating more and more!!!

¡GRACIAS!

I have for you today another 2-page layout created using ONLY the beautiful collection Moonrise from SEI.

I created this layout using ONLY SEI Moonrise collection 12 x 12 paper and the sticker letters that come inside the collection!!!

NO CRICUT!!!!

Not that I don't use it because i don't love her anymore!!! But, because I want to make sure that scrappers that do not have a Cricut machine can still make beautiful projects!!!

My original layout had the 09 instead of the 10. I COULD NOT find Thanksgiving dinner pictures from last year anywhere!!! I have some on facebook but could not print them!

Anyways, my sister bought my old Expression and she made her first two Cricut cards!!! I think her cards came out sooo cute!!! As soon as she has them posted on her blog please go visit her and leave a comment telling her how she did!!! It will be ready after 7pm today!!! If you leave a comment on her blog, I will choose a winner and send that person a lot of stickers!! 10+!!! So, I am making my lil sister my Guest Designer!!!

Here are her cards!

Family Friday Thankful Project!

Got confused with my dates!!! Here is the Family Friday Project from last week!!! Go to Crazy About Cricut for this week's theme!
Hello friends! Today is challenge time for Family Friday!!! So, gather the family and ask the kids what they are thankful for... this could be a fun night!!! Bring out some things to do cards and have them draw, write, color... anything that shows what they are thankful for.

I asked my son, Adrian, what he was thankful for, and he said he was thankful for his daddy! So, I got out somethings for him to do a card for daddy.

This week he used the technique he learned last time (inking) and he also tried for the first time stamping!! oh and  using the iRock! He loved it!

Didn't he do GOOD!!! I think so!!! He loves it!!!

I have to get my other kids to do something!!

Make sure you go visit the other DT projects over at Crazy About Cricut!!!

Momo's Turkey Challenge!

Hello friends!! This is my second post today! I have not had time to do Momo's challenges at all! So, today I had a little bit of time and decided I will enter!!

I did not want to make ANOTHER card!!! So, I decorated this paper bag to use on Thanksgiving. You might be thinking that gifts are usually not given at Thanksgiving, but..... I will actually have this bag full of cards that I have made and i will have it as a gift for a game we will play!! How fun is that!!!

I used my favorite, I when I say favorite, I mean FAVORITE DCWV stack: The Autumn Splendor Stack I have found no more at my Michaels (exclusive to them)!!!!! I only bought one and regret not having bought at least 2!! :(

What do you think?? Isn't cute?!!? I almost want to keep it!!!

Here is what I used:
DCWV Autumn Splendor stack
MS Border Punch
My Scrap Chick turkey cut
Scrappy Mom's Stamps "The charmed life"
Creatology Harvest Buttons
ribbon got as a gift

Thanks for taking a peek!!!!

Home Decor for Sweet Sassy Diva

Good Morning Friends!!! Today I have for you a home decor project for my Sweet Sassy Diva DT. I had fun doing this (it was a first)! I had to use a few things for this project/challenge to me!

1. Use Felt
2. Use Green
3. Use embossing
4. Use a Cricut Cut

Materials used:

Frame from Joanns

K&Company Yuletide Christmas Collection

Ribbon from Michaels

Flowers from my BFF last year :)

Felt flower SEI

Zip Dry Glue paper

PYM 2 Acrylic Protective Sealant

Xacto Blade

Gloss Glue

Winter Frolic Cartridge

Cricut Expression

Cricut Cuttlebug for Happy Holidays sign

Acrylic Paint for around frame

Instructions:
Apply glue to frame and carefully put paper, let dry and then use Xacto blade to cut paper excess.

Paint around frame. I used my finger... why? well it gives me a bit more control as to how much paint I want on the paper edges... I like the distressed look.

Flowers were adhered with glue dots. I used the gloss glue on the sign, on the red part only. I also embossed the sign.

Because I don't have Modge Podge, I used the acrylic protectant on the frame! It dries A LOT faster! :)

For this project I had to:

Use green: CHECK!

Use felt: CHECK!

Cricut cut: CHECK!

Emboss: CHECK!

This is my very first decorated frame!

I need to practice on my pictures!!!

Thank you for visiting!
