Onto Challenge #1 for this year! This challenge we had not done before and I enjoyed creating my card for it! Always felt very challenged when I saw this theme! But, that is why they are called challenges right? The theme is MONOCHROMATIC, create anything you like, be it a card, LO, bag, box, ect the only thing you have to watch is that you are using the same tones of the color you choose!

Y pues a darle comienzo a los retos de este año! Este reto nunca antes lo habíamos hecho y me divertí a miles haciendo mi tarjetita! Siempre me sentí media burra para este tema, pero por eso se le llaman retos no? El tema es que tu proyecto (ya sea tarjeta, LO, cajita, bolsita, lo que sea) sea MONOCROMATICO! Solo le tienes que poner atención a que los colores que uses sean de la misma gama de colores.

My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday!

Hello everyone! Remember when I use enter Emma's challenges!! OMG it has been ages and I do miss it a lot!!! I remember at one point staying up that Wednesday before to know what the challenge was so that I could be first!!! LOL Yes! It became a little bit of an addiction!

Well, today is the last day to enter her challenge and I think this is one of the few times where I get to create something with a purpose other than to enter a challenge.

I have a student who had surgery and I wanted to create a card for him. He is a senior and played football last season and actually I think he played all four years! Well, he is going to be out of the classroom for 6 weeks!! He will be missed! He is a fun kid to have in a class!

So here is my card! I used Paper Doll for Everyday for the little guy and Peachy Keen's Laughy Taffy Face assortment. I also used My Creative Time's Touchdown and Pain Pain Go Away for the sentiments. Paper is DCWV.

I didn't want to put to much on the card, this is a 18 year old I am giving it to and did not want the card to look to girlie or playful! 

I had fun doing this! This is my first time using this cart!!! Just got it in December!!

I'm back!!!!!

WOW I have been really MIA!! My last post was the 19th of December!! I went to Mexico for the holidays and really had not had the time to scrap at all! But, since today we don't have to go to work, I stayed up last night scrapping! 

I created a cute card using one of my favorite stamps ever!!! Madelynn!! She is just the CUTEST thing ever!!! She is a retired stamp from The Greeting Farm.

I do have to share that I was very very limited with supplies! I am visiting family in Mexico and did not bring ANY supplies and tools. So, I tried my very best to create a card. 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE TGF! I had seen them here and there but never really bought any until I began scrappin with Michelle, Candace and Kim.... then it kinda became an addiction!

Hello my dear scrappers! I am so happy that vacation is here and that I get to go to Mexico to visit family!! But, especially excited because I get to have a Crop Day with friends that I have made through Facebook! It will be FUN!!!// Hola a todas mis queridas escraperas!! Dilo En Español Challenge #4/ 4to Reto de Dilo En Español

Happy Friday everyone!! Welcome to another super fun challenge! Our last challenge was oh so fun!! Full of sparkling projects!! Thank every single one of you who entered!!! Feliz viernes a todas!! Bienvenidas a otro reto que les aseguro a todas les encantara! Nuestro ultimo reto estuvo divertido! Gracias a todas aquellas que participaron!

This time around we have another challenge that I am sure will be fun and easy! The theme for this time around is to use TWINE!! You can use ANY kind of twine you have!! and you can create anything you want!! A layout, a card an altered item... whatever you like! Esta vez tenemos otro reto que de seguro les va a gustar y estara super facil tambien! El tema que les propongo es el de usar TWINE!! Puede ser cualquier marca de hilito, y pueden crear lo que gusten!! ya sea layout, tarjeta, cajita... lo que gusten!!!

This time around I got to use Set #3 Suspirando con Tinta. These stamps are all about love. The sentiment I used on my card is a very popular saying we have in Mexico. I am not sure if it is used in other countries as well. It reads: "Eres mi media naranja" the translation for that is "You are my other half orange" Esta vez yo use el Set #3 de mis sellitos para crear mi tarjetita. Me encanta este sellito!!!

I used the Preserves cartridge for the orange and I just cut it in half and paper is Echo Park and SU cardstock. The punch for the sentiment is also SU. Ohhhh!! and did you see those adorable Peachy faces!!! It is one of the newer assortment faces. Use el cartucho de Preserves de Cricut para la naranja y la corte por la mitad. El papel que use es de Echo Park y tambien use cardstock de Stampin Up. Use tambien una perforadora de Stampin Up. Y esas caritas!?!?!? BELLISIMAS no?? Son de Peachy Keen! Una de sus mas recientes colecciones de caritas.
