Hello and happy Monday to everyone!!! So super excited to be part of this fun hop!!! This is a customer blog hop that The Greeting Farm is hosting. It is a lengthy one so make sure you have a full coffee pot ready to go!
I do have to share that I was very very limited with supplies! I am visiting family in Mexico and did not bring ANY supplies and tools. So, I tried my very best to create a card.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE TGF! I had seen them here and there but never really bought any until I began scrappin with Michelle, Candace and Kim.... then it kinda became an addiction!
If you got here from Lisa, then you are heading in the right direction! But, if you happen to just pop in then make sure you start with the b-day girl, Emily!!!
I created a very simple b-day card. I saw this cute stamp at Michaels and thought of my day back in the 80's!! I remember taking out my huge boom-box and just played it as loud as possible. Loved break-dancing music!!
Can't really tell on the picture but a couple of the images are raised!
Now, make sure your cup of coffee is full and continue hopping!

This time around we have another challenge that I am sure will be fun and easy! The theme for this time around is to use TWINE!! You can use ANY kind of twine you have!! and you can create anything you want!! A layout, a card an altered item... whatever you like!
This time around I got to use Set #3 Suspirando con Tinta. These stamps are all about love. The sentiment I used on my card is a very popular saying we have in Mexico. I am not sure if it is used in other countries as well. It reads: "Eres mi media naranja" the translation for that is "You are my other half orange" Esta vez yo use el Set #3 de mis sellitos para crear mi tarjetita. Me encanta este sellito!!!
I used the Preserves cartridge for the orange and I just cut it in half and paper is Echo Park and SU cardstock. The punch for the sentiment is also SU. Ohhhh!! and did you see those adorable Peachy faces!!! It is one of the newer assortment faces. Y esas caritas!?!?!? BELLISIMAS no??
So, now it is my DT's turn to wow you off and show you how they used twine!!
Check out their blogs for more detail on their cards, just click on their names!
Hello Everyone!! I am a little late on my post for our challenge on Scrapalicious USA!! But, i'm here!! This time around we have another super easy challenge to do!

My card has fall-ish colors!
What do you think?? If you are interested on the products used for my card click on the pictures below!! It will take you directly to them!!
Oh btw! The sentiment "Me gustas" means "I Like You"
Spanish sentiment is from my own line "Dilo En Español"

Hello Everyone and welcome to our 2nd Annual Dia De Los Muertos Blog Hop!! Day of the Dead has been celebrated in Mexico for many many centuries. It is a day where we remember our loved ones and the beautiful life they had when they lived. Altars are created for those loved ones and their favorite things are put on the altar as an "ofrenda", an offering for them. It is a time of joy and happiness.
Last year I created a small altar for my grandfather and had to make sure I put on the altar some of his favorite things like mayo and some tequila! What a combination! :)
Here is my grandfather doing what he was best at, photography.
Te extraño abuelito (I miss you grandpa)
So, another thing that I always, always associate with Day Of the Dead is Frida Kahlo. Her art reflected what she was feeling and it was her way of expressing herself. Sometimes, hmmm most times a truth that was a little too hard to swallow.
I became inspired by the cover of Vogue where she appeared.
and here is my creation:
Sentiment is a quote from Frida Kahlo, it reads: "Feet, why do I need them if I have wings to fly"
Frida Kahlo had an accident when she was young and had to go through many many surgeries through out her life. At first, doctors believed she might not be able to walk again. Click HERE if you would like know more about her life.
Onto some CANDY!!
Flor Larios is sponsoring our blog again this year!
One winner will receive one of her beautiful prints!!
You can visit her Etsy shop HERE and take a look at her AWESOME work!
Patty's blog is all in Spanish, please still leave her a message! She knows a little English and I am sure she would love to read your messages! She has a lot more history on the Day of the Dead! She lives in Oaxaca, Mexico... one of Mexico's states that celebrates Day of the Dead the most!
Happy Friday!! and welcome to another challenge!! Challenge #2 was awesome!! We had so many wonderful entries!! Thank you all!! and just so you know we use Random.org to pick the winner! We could never decide if we had to pick!!//¡Feliz viernecito!! y bienvenidas a otro reto! El reto #2 estuvo fantástico! Tuvimos tantas entredas!
One more thing before we go on. You DO NOT have to use Spanish on your projects to participate!!! It is called Dilo En Español (Say It Spanish) because we are showcasing my stamps. But, you can create anything you want just follow the theme!// Una cosita mas.
This challenge's theme is to use Glitter or Bling!! Easy enough?! I think so!//
Facilito ¿no? Yo si lo creo!
