I am on the Cooking With Cricut Design Team!!!!!!!

Hello my fellow scrappers!!!! I have known this for about two weeks, maybe more! But, I was asked not to say that I had made it to the Cooking With Cricut Design team!!!! Well, now we can..... I have a saying in Spanish but can't seem to translate it word for word........ hmmmmmmm

"Lo puedo gritar a los cuatro vientos!!!!" if you know Spanish, you have heard this before and maybe there is something already similar in English...... "I can yell it to the four winds?" LOL Sounds weird!!! OK... i'm going off the topic here!!!

Anyways if you have visited Cooking With Cricut before you know the AWESOME layouts she creates!!! She does her own digital images and she also has cut files for the images!!! Really guys, if you haven't.... YOU NEED TO go visit her!!!

So after viewing my project for CWC make sure you go visit her and then go see all the great designers that are on our team!!! and have I mentioned that my BFF, Gaby, is also on the DT!!!!!! Isn't this awesome!!!!!

What do you think???

I did use my Cricut Expression for the cuts using Make The Cut.

The Mouse Couple Dancing is CWC owned. If you wish to purchase, they are very affordable!!!

I used mostly Recollections cardstock the black dotted paper is DCWV Alphabet Stack.

Ribbon is from Michaels

I found the musical notes and the heart as SGV files for free online!!

Cooking With Cricut design team will have something new to show you guys every Wednesday!!

Playing with Serenade Week 5

Hello my dear followers and viewers!! Here today with another round of Serenade!!! This is week 5 and my turn to play with image #29 (cherry blossoms).

I needed a bday card for my hubby's co-worker and I created this card with that in mind!

The green dotted paper is from a Prima Paper stack I found at Big Lots for less than $5!!

And the sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's stamps set!!

Now, here is a little taste of what the other Serenade ladies did:

Peachy Keen's Let's Face It Friday! Challenge #2

Well, let me tell you a little something.... This has been by far the hardest card I have had to make. Not because it was difficult to make, but because I chose to do it honoring my grandpa.

He passed away about 5 years ago and it's still a very sensitive subject to talk about in my family. I don't know if i am the only one feeling weird about this but.... we have never had any deaths in our families and I thank God for that. Now, I know that we all have to go someday, but that's something that my family, well.... we don't talk about it!

So, can you imagine how it was when my grandpa died? OMG it was and it still feels like it's the end of the world!!

Making this card has helped a lot. Like I said, we don't talk a lot about "mi abuelito".... i'm thinking I will have to MAKE my family come over and take a look :)

Why did I use cameras?? Well, mi abuelito was a professional photographer. He actually took this picture himself!!! This is one of my favorites!!! Wasn't he handsome? :)

I just noticed I forgot to put glitter where the flash of the cameras! Oh well, I'll do that later.

Also, I made this card 5 x 7.
I will give the card to my mom and that way she can frame it!

I used:
BoBunny Paper
CAC Cart

Thank you for taking a look!
