Love @ First Sight Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Love At First Sight Blog Hop hosted by Sandra 365 Days Of Cricut . If you are here from Sandra ( the host!) than you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go to Sandra to start the fun!!! For this blog hop Sandra is celebrating her anniversary of when she met her hubby 8 years ago "It was Love At First Sight", she is also celebrating her 7th wedding anniversay, and of course Valentine's Day! She has asked us all to make a Love-Themed Gift for someone that we love. I decided to make a few layouts for my hubby.

Now, I have to be honest and tell you that what my hubby and I have was NOT love at first sight!!! LOL Really!!! He worked for my dad and he hated my guts!!! I used to go clubbing  A LOT and would go to my dad's office on the weekends asking for money to go out. Well, this is what he hated! Daddy's little girl just popping in the office asking for money!!! LOL

Something happened after that! We started dating March 1st and got married that same year December 23rd!!! Yep, I guess when you know, you just know!

This is us! 1995!!!

So my first layout is about my hubby... I went crazy looking for a picture just him alone and could not find one!!! and when I did... well, I was out of ink!! I used a picture of both of us....

Sketch is from Sassy Lil Sketches

I put just a little bit of glue so I can take it off and put a picture just of him!

For my second project I created a 2-page layout ALL about LOVE!!!

It's pictures of my hubby and I through out  the years....

Sketch is from Gotsketch

So, both of these layout are almost ALL Cricut-less!!! Except for this cute bear on top!!
I used the Make-The-Cut program with my Cricut and the bear is from Treasure Box Designs.
And did you notice the stamps??? My Creative Time "You Had Me Chocolate" set!!! They are not ONLY for cards!!! I love them!!!

I hope you have enjoyed my layouts and my little story!

What would be a hop without candy?!?! Beside the candy you can win with Sandra... I have for you a sweet, sweet giveaway!!

My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone! It's time again for another Throwback Thursday!! This time around we got to dust off those old carts once again! You can use either Wild Card or Just Because Cards cartridges and create a card of your choice using a stamp somewhere!

For my project I used the Wild Card cart. I used the card and envelope and with my "Lupita" (Gypsy) I hid the circle on the card.

I used BoBunny paper i found on clearance for 33 cents!!!

It was my turn to showcase the "Mom You Rock" stamp set from My Creative Time. I used it on three different spots!! Now, I am posting a lot of pictures because I want you to see all the details!

Front of envelope. Spellninders, pop-outs and bling!

Back of envelope, used some black pearls.

Back envelope detail.

Card and envelope

Inside of card, when opened the stamp pops out!

Mom You Rock stamp detail... sooooo cute!!

Peachy Keen faces on heart balloons are popped-out.
So, what did you think? I think this is one of my favorite cards!!
