Thrifty Thursday at ScrapTiffany

Hello all!! I am here today doing another Thrifty Thursday with Scraptiffany!!

How many of you have spent hundreds of dollars on Cricut cartridges?? Come on... be honest.... your hubby isn't reading my blog!! I have, and the saddest part of it all is that I have not used so many of them!! There have been those "gotta have" carts and I go and get it.... and it is still sitting there.... untouched.

Well, I have something fun (cheap...cheaper than carts!) to share with you. I am on the design team for Cooking With Cricut and Melin creates files that you can either buy as digi stamps or cutting files. If you go to her page she explains a bit more on the different cutting files she can provide when you purchase.

These are some of the layouts that I have created using her files in SGV format. I cut them using my Cricut and the Make The Cut software.

BC Awareness Bear

Bear as Elf and Puppy in present

Gigerbread house 09 and Joy sign

Bear with Cider Mill

Bear Baking

Bear and Turkey Friends

Mouse Couple Dancing

Scarecrow Girl on Pumpkin
Under each picture you will find the name of the cutting file I used. You can go here to purchase PAGEKITS
Make sure you go visit even if you are not buying, she often has freebies!!

Now, I want to make sure you get as excited as I do when playing with these files.... so I am doing a giveaway!!! One lucky person will receive the BEAR BAKING file. Yep!!! Just leave a comment telling me how many Cricut carts you own that you have NOT used! I know..... it's bad... isn't???

Thanks for taking a peek!!!

My Little Sister!

Hello my dear friends!! Well, I got me a new Teal colored expression and let me tell you.... it is just soooo beautiful!!! I sold my old expression to my lil sister, Kich. She has found her new LOVE!!! LOL yes.... I have inducted her into our scrappin world/addiction!!! The fun part for her, she can borrow ALL my carts since I use my Gypsy all the time!!!

Well, I also got her to create a blog just for her scrappin! So please be a sweety and go visit her and show her some love!!

She is also a very talented artist!! She even has her own copyrighted characters!!

Meet the some of the Kich and Bleus gang!

Her characters are from her real life friends and she has even created characters from my kids!!

Well, I want to make sure she feels all the love that I get, so please go over to her blog and tell her i sent you!!

Gaby Abby Challenges with SEI Week 8~~~ Anything Christmas!

Hello my dear followers and viewers! It's time for another Gaby Abby Challenge!! and this time it's ANYTHING CHRISTMAS!! I can't believe that it's this time of the year again!!

Today, it's time for another fabulous SEI collection and "Kris Kringle" is the name! and it's a very sophisticated Christmas themed collection. Yes, I used the correct term... this collection (like Moonrise) is very elegant and beautiful!! You can check out each single design HERE.

I decided to create some hot cocoa holders. I have seen this idea out there and decided to give it a try!

Once again, I wanted to cater to those gals with no cutting machines.
For these three holders only one sheet of cardstock and one sheet of the Kris Kringle collection were used.
I added some ribbon and used my white pen for some fun doodling!
To make the holder close, I used some velcro.

Material used:
Bazzil Cardstock
Kris Kringle Collection (boxing day sheet)
Kris Kringle Gleaming Snow die-cut accents
Uniball white pen
Velcro
Twine and ribbon from Michaels

Measurements:

Cardstock 4x12
Pattern paper 3.75x 11.75

Use your cocoa packet to measure your scoring lines.

Now, onto the fun part!! The CANDY!!
Kris Kringle collection gallore!!
