Abby and Lil Chris' Birthday

Well, it took a few weeks to post this!! But, I wanted to share with you the treat bags I made for my daughter Abby and my nephew Chris' birthday party.

They are just 4 days apart and we have done their b-days together every year!!

First year was Backyardigans themed. Second year was Micky and Minnie themed and this year we decided to go with Princess and Pirate theme! Half of my momma's home was decorated with pirate things in red, black and blue and the other side was pink, baby blue and baby yellow!

Here are the treat bags I made for the party! I made 15 princess and 15 pirate bags! and because it took me TOO long to make these.... well, I chased the kids making sure I collected the toppers if I saw them on the floor. And, as you are probably thinking, I did collect from the floor 7 pirate toppers and only one princess!!! All the girls were too excited to even open their treat bags!!

Here they are!!!

I used:
SEI paper for Princess dress
Playtime Cart for dolls
Paper Doll Dress Up cart for clothes

and here are the Bday princess and pirate!

She was so happy opening her presents!!!

That expression!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!! PRICELESS!!!!!!

Thanks for taking a peek!! I have 7 pirates and 2 princess so if you are interested in having some of these just leave a comment with your email telling me you want a pirate or a princess!!! Little giveaway!!

My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday- St. Patty's Day Theme!

Hello all!! Hope you are having a good week! This crazy weather is just awful!! One day it's sunny and beautiful...next day windy and rainy!!!

Anyways, this week for Throwback Thursday we got to create anything using ANY cartridge but you have to make sure it is a St. Patty's Day theme!

So, we got to use the awesome "I Believe In Leprechauns" stamp set!

I created a one page-layout about my family and I altered a little one of the stamps in the set. I used the "Lucky to have a friend like you!" sentiment, but.... I covered with Scotch tape the "a friend like you!" part first and stamped and then covered again everything except "you!".

Materials used:

My Creative Time "I Believe In Leprechauns" stamp set
Peachy Keen Face Stamps Happy Lashes
Simple Charmed Cricut Cartidge
SEI Chick-A-Doo Collection
Forever In Time Gem Swirls
Martha Stewart Twine
Buttons from collection

Now, go visit My Creative Time and check out the other design team member's projects! They are phenomenal!!!!!!

Just in case you are wondering.... that picture in green?!!? LOL I used Photoshop and played with Actions (Slightly Lighten, Old West and Burned Edges) and I also went into the blending options and used something there to get that green color to it.
Thanks again!!!
