Don't you just love blog hopping??? I do!!! Well, today we have for you a fun Holiday one!!! If you are coming from Sheri, than you are on the right track... but if not... make sure you start with Tiffany!!!
Onto my project!!! I learned this project from Emma over at My Creative Time.
I used my Gypsy to create these. From the George Cart size a square to 5 inches long and from the My Kitchen cart I welded the gingerbread man one on each end. Make sure that you flip on of the images to match your shape when folded. The gingerbread man from My Kitchen has another shape next to it, you have to use the Hide Contour feature on your Gypsy to hide all the things you don't want cut. Also, it comes with a cute face... but how can I NOT use my Peachy Keen faces?!!
Wanted to show you the cut before decorating. I did not give you score measurement because you will use different size lollipops and you can size that on your own.
Here you can see all the things that I needed to use the Hide Contour feature on my Gypsy.
and here is a view of the files ready to cut with everything hiding.
A good money saving tip.... if you are mass producing these you can just have the cut and use a pen for the doodling, a sentiment, a little ribbon and glitter glue.
But if you want to get a little fancy and cutesy..... you can try this...
I hope you have liked what I created. A big shout out to the person I learned this from... Emma!!
I used the following for my lollipop holders:
Pink By Design Stamps
Peachy Keen Stamps
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Joanns Christmas Stack 09
Recollections Cardstock
Ribbon from Joanns
Bling from hmmmmm ??
George Cart
My Kitchen Cart
Gypsy
Now would you like some candy?!?!?!?!?!
How about 10 cuts from any cart you wish!!! I will announce the winner on Thursday morning... if you are the lucky winner you will have to go on top to my MY CARTS page and look at the list of carts I have. The cuts will be no bigger than 4 inches and I will cut all the layers too, but they will be sent just like that, just in case you want to add pop-ups and other things. They will be cut with cardstock paper only! One little note...... if you choose cuts that have very intricate cuts and my cricut is not behaving I will just choose other cuts for you that are similar.
Your next stop is Becca.
